I am keen to do some fishing and get my boat out for a run. I often fish outside but this weekend i want to do the lake as i haven't used my boat for few months and would like to ensure its all perfect. (engine already tested and perfect) I like fishing for anything and open minded to suggestions for spots and type of fishing. I am keen to take my boat for a run and do some fishing in lake Macquarie. I am new to Newcastle and don't know many people here. I need somebody or somebodies who want to go out boat fishing. I am open to ideas of good spots. I usually go for about 4 hours. Times are flexible. Pm me here I have plenty of gear for me and one other person. I have a 17' fiberglass boat and like to go out fishing as often as i can convince the wife. Usually every few weeks. I like to take one or 2 other people. My boat can go offshore (I don't go more than a few km offshore normally) and has all the safety gear for offshore. What I need is someone who is good fisherman as I am new to fishing in Sydney. I am thinking of taking my 17ft carribean out on Sunday in botany bay or off cronulla if the swell permits. I need someone to come to help handle the boat and just because its more fun with others. Hi fellow members, I have been out with a few members in the last few months and had some great trips. got some kings and big flathead as well as a host of other things. I am 30and a novice fisherman but know how to handle my boat. I have a week off work this week and would like to get out a few times. I find fishing the evening is best about 5pm to 9ish (depending on how many fish, obviously if there are heaps i stay longer) I am looking for someone to come out this week. I only expect that you pay your share of bait costs. I hav 17ft boat and uually go to botany but if you now good spots in the harbour orthe rivers i am willing to give it a go. I have a 17ft fibreglass runabout and go out a lot of weekends. I live in Guildford and generally go in botany but sometimes the harbour. I am happy to take extra guys out if they bring some fishing knowledge as I am a still learning the art of fishing. Its good solid boat with a new motor.

Hi fellow fishermen (and women) I have just found out that my motor i just bought (a 2004 mercury 90) has been fitted and completed on my boat. I go to take it for a test and find that the motor mountings are half covering the top bung hole for my hull. What sort of professional installer leaves it like that. I now cant use my boat at all and am not very pleased. I wont name the dealer until I see how well they do at fixing it. Has anyone else had this issue and what can you do about it? I clearly cant use the boat until i can put a bung in it or I might get that sinking feeling and it wont be metaphorical.

Hi, I do regular trips on botany bay and have 17 foot carribean fibreglass boat. I just bought a 90hp outboard mercury 2004 model as my motor was from the 70's. I would just need people to bring bait. First in best dressed if more than 3 people want to go.

I recently acquired an older 17ft fibreglass carribean runabout and am looking for someone or a couple of blokes to go out with. I have experience with boating down the south coast (i have a house and 15ft tinny there for the last 10 years there) but not alot in sydney waterways. Looking for someone with some boating experience and that knows some of the waterways and best spots in either botany bay, sydney harbour/parra river or georges river. I dont mind if people have a couple of drinks but no getting pissed. I am about 30 and am always happy to meet new people and i cant launch my boat on my own. Its an old boat but has heaps of power and is very solid and stable. I have some fishing gear but not alot as yet. I will buy it as i find i need it.
