I'm deciding between the Suzuki DT30 electric start, or a Yamaha CV30 manual start for a 4.1m aluminium - both brand new 2014 models. Whats everyones opinion on which to go for?

Thanks heaps for the responses guys. He's weighing up his options now. I'll let you all know how he goes. The neighbour has been complaining lately because it takes up a car space on the street which he thinks is unfair on the community (even though he doesn't have any car on the street). But he's got no choice but to do something about it now.

Hi all, My mates got a bit of a problem. He stores his boat on the street outside his place, and a few numbers have been kicking up a stink lately. He received a letter saying his boat is too long to be kept on his street - the total length at the moment is 7.8m, but needs to be below 7.5m in his area. My question is what options does he have to reduce the overall length (in terms of trailer modifications, or anything really)? They've given him until the end of the week to sort something out so he's really stressing about it. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi all, I've been reading a lot of posts about catching sharks inside. Can anyone give me any tips? The posts I've been reading all seem to point towards the beginning of the year being the best time to target them. I have a 4m tinny so i'm limited to fishing inside the harbour, botany bay, the georges, parra river etc.. Any tips or info would be great. Cheers!

Cheers for that Huey. He's fitting it on an old Haines. What would you recommend? He's had a 115hp yamaha 4 stroke and had no issues with it which is why i think he's set on the 70 for the haines.

I'm pretty sure there is a bloke down middle harbour that sells coffee from his boat on the water.. You could stop at Rose Bay, theres a cafe right next to the boat ramp.

How far out were you getting the dollies?
