  1. All IMHO of course. A. 100k is young even for petrol motor. And very young for a diesel. The more important question is, are those kays alot for that year model? If so, then this will affect your re-sale and the ease of moving it on one day. B. I wouldn't call this car a 4wd as there is no low range. C. Many modern diesel injection systems these days are known to 'play up' at relatively young age. Try googling Toyota D4D injector problems or Nissan ZD30. My mate spent over $2500 on new injectors for his late model hilux D4D at around 100k. He wasn't happy
  2. I tie mono to the reel with an arbor knot. Only about a layer of mono. This is done as tying the braid directly to the reel can slip. I then albright special my braid on. I then tie a mono leader with another albright special. I prefer the albright as the leader slips through my rod tip nicely.
  3. Gday all, Drew here. I'm 31 and lucky enough to live in Port Stephens... so plenty of saltwater options close by. I have fished since I was a kid but still very much an amateur. My Dad must have had a soft spot for Hunter River Hexham because we always went there. I don't know why there in particular though as he spent most of the time fixing our snags. You know what, he never got mad though. I guess patience makes a good fisherman. Thankfully Dad has a 3.8 Quintrex these days which gets us about the estuaries. I'm really enjoying beach fishing at the moment (Stockton of course) but I've only produced Aus Salmon so far. Looking forward to hooking something tastier soon. My PB fish is a 67cm Kingy caught on off-shore charter from Wooli. I have a photo but sorry it's on my broken laptop at the moment. Cheers guys and girls!
