  1. @ Noodles Sorry with the pic mate, was very tired after the fishing and had only my iphone to take a quick pic before the skipper distribute the fish. @ Bertrand Let me clarify that there were 11 of us fishing on the charter and everybody end up with 1 snapper above 60cm and 2 snapper between 40-60cm to take home. So it's not like i took home all those fish in the pic, but i understand and appreciate your concern in conserving those fish. so hopefully no hard feeling mate...cheers :biggrin2:
  2. more pic next to the foot is the biggest snapper of the day that goes about 90ish cm
  3. Hi all long time observer of the forum and first time report. Fly to Adelaide for Christmas and went on a fishing charter specialize on snapper. First drop of the bait, straight away triple hook up, the biggest being 75cm snapper (not sure about the weight) and then went quiet for while and the skipper decided to move to a different spot. Same thing here, after about a few minutes the snapper were on the bite again and they range from 40cm to 70cm. We keep moving to different spot and catching snapper after snapper until we caught the beast at 90cm. Never been really good at making report so i have attached picture for y'all to see. Any question ask away  PS: Does anyone know a goof fishing charter for kingfish and mahi mahi from sydney? cheers

  11. Longy it's true that learning about the do 's and don'ts about driving does not prevent death on the road, but it DOES REDUCE the death on the road imo. Take my home country where driving with the influence of alcohol is allowed and there is no speed limit enforced, the death toll percentage is staggeringly higher than australia. Educating fisho about the danger of rock fishing will not completely eradicate rock fishing death but it will reduce it. In reality it is almost impossible to eradicate something completely but it is always possible to reduce it if effort is applied. I for once has stupidly fish on the rock with nothing but a pair of thongs and i was lucky nothing happen to me. At the time i did not know anything or understand (i am asian too btw )about swell or the danger of rock fishing. So i guess I was lucky to learn the danger of rock fishing before anything has happened to me. I am sure most of these people that die from rock fishing did not understand the danger and if the government manage to educate them then i guess we can save maybe 8 out of 10 that died. Just my 2 cent anyway no offence intended to anyone
