  7. Hi all, I'm heading up to Darwin & Broome in August and will need to invest in some heavier tackle. I currently have a Shimano Sedona FE with 20lb braid matched with a Shimano Catana 3-5kg rod. If anyone could suggest lure options that would be great. Either Plastics or HB Also, if you have any location options for safe ( watch out for crocs ) land base spots, that would be sweet. Cheers,

  12. Hey Guys, I fish down at Tarban Creek with SP's quite a bit. I'm usually down there on a sunday arvo. I've found recently that an hour before the run in tide seems to be a bit better. PM me if you're ever interested in meeting up on a weekend

  15. Nutsaboutfishing, try walking along the rockwall at tarban creek. High tide usually is better. I'm usually down there on a sunday so if your going to be free, PM and we can catch up Cheers, Dom
  16. Hi All, Just wondering if its worth using burley when fishing with lures. I understand the theory behind burley when bait fishing but would the same principles apply to get the food chain going? Has anyone tried this? Cheers, Dom

  19. I often fish off the park at Tarbon Creek and Banjo's. Iv'e had a bit of luck with plastics and blades for flatheads and the odd whiting. Still havent managed any bream though If you thinking of heading down on a sunday arvo, send me a PM and i'll try and join you
