By catch of Mulloway in prawn and squid nets is close to zero. The co op only has a few boxes of Mulloway going through there weekly. Beach mesh netting is a major concern for mature Mulloway stock. DPI catch and release information reveals that Mulloway travel long distances and a good and bad season is more dependant on what enters the system per season.

Looks finished bit suspect some beurocratic big noting will take place first with some pretty pics in the local rag.

Water is really warm at the moment 23 degrees in some parts and pushing hard downhill.

I would not even consider putting the boat in unless I head to JB if bluefin are what you after. Yes the odd jellybean is about but not worth the hassel.

Mate I would opp for the 10ft 1 inch mesh net. Get a draw string net over a pocket net as nothing falls out. With my nets I also add weight to the base of the net to assist with sinking speed.

Behind the marina is all flats. The eastern shore line leading to the marina will put in you in with a good chance.

Jewfishing is not about time on the water it's more about timing. You left 2 hrs before the top which tells me you left to early. I now chase Jew for half an hour and generally nail them but I target them corresponding to the tide.
