Hello fisherman Im hoping someone can share their knowledge so I can better understand what to look for in contour lines when using a GPS/Sounder/Sonar. I understand the basics of what the lines represent and the numbers associated with them, its more the fact I have no idea of what to look for when I'm trying to find a spot where fish might be hiding. Maybe I'm right saying different species of fish choose to hang out in completely different spots ?? To narrow down any helpful response, say if I wanted to target snapper, kingfish, and flat head in and around Sydney Harbour and Northern Beaches, am I looking to drop my line where the ground is relatively flat ? or where the ground is quickly dropping away ? or not ? Hi all, if I was looking at a 3.85m tinny with specs indicating main motor weight was 105kg and max HP was 30. Is there a major issue if say a 40HP 85ish kg motor went on? Regards Simon
