  1. Just got myself a 2016 Outback as well.
  2. I troll and jig with my T Curve Deep Sea 200.
  3. Nice set up mate, is that a Viking? Thinking about picking up a Stealth Profisha 525.
  4. Nope pretty easy, especially if you do some research into where fisheries like to dump their fingerlings too...
  5. Keen to get into some Bass and after weeks of scoping out Google Maps for some potential spots i hit Tackleworld and stocked up on lures and embarked on my first Bass adventure, after a 45 min hike through the bush i came to the spot ive been scoping out. Threw out a popper fist up, got one hit but no hookup, changed over to ZMann Grubz and caught 2 straight away. Both around 35cm. Next i tied on a Strada crank bait and caught another 3. Stoked with my first Bass mission, great change up from chasing Kings on the salt, all i can think about is getting back out there for another crack.
  6. Dude on here hooked a Spanish Mac there last summer. You get some strange fish in The Hacking at the peak of the warm water.
  7. True Hoodlum is plus 20kgs I reckon. Well over a metre. Rats Up to 75cm Bandit 75cm-20kgs Hood 20kgs In my humble opinion of course.
  8. Better off looking for slimeys and squid mate. Kings in the Hacking are more inclined to take a pillie cube than a live yakka at the moment!!
  9. After looking at both fish online, I think its definitely a black cod. He was released. For people wondering the location, its in the big restricted area between the runways. We have our work boat moored in there. The whole area I there is teaming with fish. From stonking bream, to big flatties, bull sharks and pelagics.
  10. A few blokes on facebook said Wirrah too, they common around Sydney? Caught around the main runway.
  11. 163 other people who don't know either!!! Some sort of Cod im thinking.
  12. Caught this beast in Botany yesterday on a zman grub, was about 2-3 kilos. No clue what it is, mouth like a Mangrove Jack but a different shaped tail and eyes.
  13. Great spot, just regarding the Jew hole there. The Jews don't live in it, lol. They move in and out with the tide and tend to follow the deepest route. Its a great spot. Throw in some livies and forget about em, get a berley trail going and bag out on bream. If the livie gets eaten its a bonus.
  14. Yep on a kayak fishing forum a guy posted a report. Just out from foreshore boat ramp in the deep water in what is now an excluded zone. Saw some surface action middle of the day cast a soft plastic into it and bam, Jewy. Ended up with a few if I remember correctly.
  15. lol yeah they are called The Drums. Never had much luck with em in the bay.
  16. Circles take the guess work out, no need to strike just feel the rod load up and slowly lift. Learnt this lesson on kings.
  17. Hey mate I seen you out there, seen you hook up and release the fish too, I was in the orange tinny chucking poppers. Heaps of marks on my sounder but no action.
  18. You can film whatever you like in a public area
  19. Get some squid jigs and fish the corner that faces the northern headland of Botany Bay
  20. Far better shot in the hacking imo
