You'll love the engine, i have the 2008 150 Etec on my Cruise Craft Explorer and it works so well. Fuel efficiency is awesome, uses less than half a tank going to Browns and back where as my old 2 stroke would chew just about a full tank. And quiet, emmission free.. just a very good engine that i am super happy with (Thanks again to Huett Marine) Clappa.

Just wanted to thank Huett Marine for their outboard advise.. Having taken the advise of Craig @ Huett i went with a 150 ETEC! Best decision i have made. After putting the best part of 20 hours on it in a couple of weeks and running it without fault between the shelf and the heads its been the best decision i could have made. I would seriously recommend the team at Huett Marine. Todd

Yep... got this one myself.. can just about see the fish thinking about eating my bait.. (Never does though ) Best sounder i have had and i have had a couple now. The screen size is good as is the clarity and definition. Todd

Hi, I'm looking to repower a Cruise Craft 550 Explorer with a Honda 135 4 Stroke. Currently it is running (very nicely) a 2002 Mariner 135 V6 2 stroke. The reasons for repowering are purely related to fuel consumption and fumes when trolling. I use the boat purely for fishing and need the long range ability (Browns Mountian / Shelf etc) Has anyone have any feedback at all on this outboard (good / bad or indifferent)? The other suggested outboard is a yammie 115, however with 4 people on board, 120 ltrs of fuel i am worried it would be underpowered. Appreciate your help.

Hi, We use the ramp at Tunks Park underneath (almost) the bridge at NorthBridge. The ramp itself is a 3 boat ramp and is in good condition.. parking can be an issue if you are not there early on a weekend though. Todd

Kilp, good work! I am the guy you were talking to at the Wedding Cake (The guy in the Cruise Craft). Congratulations on your catch, you did better than me! I managed to nothing of interest although my Yakka did get taken. Not sure about you but i didn't see to many kings get landed today. Clappa.
