That looks like a great days fishing!! What did you catch them on?

I wanted to join in event but but unfortunately I had a family commitment.. I will aim for the next one in the Hawksburry for sure.. Would I be asking to much for some info on where to pick up some Hairtail in Cowan? Any info on how far up where to look or any hotspots for them would be appreciated? I haven't targeted this species before and I will report back to you on how I go and try to take some photos if I get anything. Thanks guys.

Hey anglers, I have access to a boat on Pittwater and get out pretty often surveying for spots, and have tried multiple times on Yakka with no results from live bait. I know I am probably wrong place, wrong time, wrong setup ect. Anyhow if there is anyone out there with a proven track record in the area who wants to em part some local knowledge on to a keen novice hit me up. Got boat with sounder and GPS restricted to waterways in the broken bay region.
