  5. Thanks mate I really apreciate your response. I'll definitely be checking out the new Reaction range soon and hopefully I'm as impressed as everyone else seems to be, I'm sure i will be
  6. Onya nbdshroom!! Hope ya get some mate, I'll be browsing.
  7. Cracking catch mate. I bet that sunday meal was a feast for kings!!
  8. Hi mate, Thanks for your response. I've actually been looking at Samurai rods the last few days aswell. The reaction and Kestrel models seems great so i would be ok stretching my budget given the components they have, which models do you have and what do you run with them? Thanks for the additional information on the Nitro rods it seems i should take my reels to a store that sells both the Nitro and Samurai ranges and see how i go with feeling. Appreciate your time. Regards, Xide
  9. Thanks for your response mate. I hadn't thought about the weight of the rod until you mentioned it. I've only read about the distance spin being paired with a Sustain which is a bit heavier than the stradic ci4+ so i will definitely need to test that out if i go that route. I'm quite sure I've read the ci4+ 4000 and baby viper being paired quite a few times and i'm happy to drop the line rating to increase its performance. I know their guarantee is great but I guess I'm just wondering if theres any newer rods that would be better i suppose. Thanks again!
  10. Cheers for your response nbdshroom. The majority of the nitro rods use alconite guides, I believe only the vapor 60 and 70 have the titanium SiC's. Checked out the daiwa AGS range but i think their out of my range in terms of price considering i need to get two rods. I'm keen to look at other suggestions, I only mentioned nitro because their what i have heard of in my price range except they are a few years old and even older on some other models. It's just hard finding information on new rods like the Shimano Anarchy for instance. I guess i just need to keep searching on the internet for what people like. Appreciate your response nbdshroom, I enjoy reading your other posts as their quite informative on all fishing topics!
