  1. Nice!!! - still waiting for my first Sydney jewie
  2. Didnt get to weigh her but she was just short of the metre mark (95cms)!
  3. After a summer full of rat kingies finally managed to land a more respectable pb. Great day out - wind was howling so we had the harbour pretty much to ourselves in the morning
  4. Managed to get a last minute leave pass from the ! Please add me to the list. Have a deckie spot available too for anyone still looking for a spot.
  5. Count me in. I might have a spare boat spot so anyone who has a few good spots/tricks up their sleeve, pm me. Cheers Alex
  6. Hi Havent posted for a while, but I thought I'd put up this pic of a nice fat Tailor I caught in Jervis Bay not too long ago. Unfortunately didnt measure it but I know it's the biggest Tailor I've ever caught. We had a great session spinning 65g and 85g Raiders off the rocks that day. Caught heaps of tailor and salmon and even one rat king. Cheers slosh
  7. Nice sesh mate - how are you doing? It's been a long time since the Kingie Social last year!!!
  8. Hi all Went out to H&C yesterday morning for a little light SP fun and managed a decent bag of bream but the funniest thing that has happened to me yet was when I snagged a bunch of weed and was pulling it back towards the shore along the surface and this massive Flathead erupts smashing the clump of weed. Unfortunately I missed the fish but what a great bit of surface smashing action to liven up the day! Just goes to show you that with Flatties it doesnt matter what you have at the end of your line, as long as its moving a Flattie will grab it. Cheers Alex
  9. didnt realise that bull sharks like nuts....
  10. Thanks, will try to get into one nice and early then.
  11. Naa, no offence intended - just thought it was a really cool name that probably sums up a lot of raiders i.e. fishing crazed (at least I know I am). Cheers Alex
  12. I'd like to come along. As I've just recently arrived in Sydney from the UK it would be great to meet some other "crazed fisher dudes". Will be landbased unless some kind raider takes pity on the newbie and offers up a spot on their boat. Cheers Alex
  13. Well done mate Went out there yesterday morning myself just as you were packing up - pity you couldnt stay to chat. Am pretty new to Sydney and wanted to know if anyone's ever had success with sp's for kings off the pier. Any idea? Cheers Alex S
