Hi, wondering if any one has the larger style C-Map card for an older style GPS that they want to get rid of/sell, I recently purchased a boat and it has a Navman 5600 Tracker but the card is for the NT, i fish mainly the East Coast, NSW

Hi Savit, I’ve been using a Gary Howard 10’6 Brembo 3W with a Sustain 2500, I’ve tried shorter rods but have found if the drift is long it’s difficult to set the hook

Hi Pickles, 8lb main line with 6lb flouro leader, add a slight current and they pull hard

Gday Raiders Hit the Harbour early Sunday morning with a plan to chase Bream and Trevally at a spot i know in Watsons Bay, anchored up using bait and I was getting hammered by small Leather Jackets, chucked a few lures around but no luck so decided to chase some Blackies as I heard of fish lurking around the Harbour, and I had some cabbage with me. Went to a spot near Middle Head, deployed the float, nice drift on the outgoing tide, the float immediately disappeared, and fish on. For the next couple of hours the bite was hot, landed 8, dropped a couple, kept 6 for a feed, was a great morning on the Harbour.

Same problem occurred at the Swansea Boat ramp with cars parked in the spots allocated for cars with trailers, went for an afternoon fish yesterday and the newly upgraded carpark was almost full except for 1 spot, which luckily had my name on it. It can be tuff during the holidays!
