  1. Thanks for your advice Twinfisher. Looks like some challenging and rewarding time ahead. The aim is to build my own LBG rod to chase beakies but I'm thinking I need to learn how to walk before running. Might start off with a light spin stick and progress on. Cheers for the realistic expectation 'patience'
  2. Thanks for the info. I'm getting on to them
  3. Exactly, thank you so much for the offer.
  4. As Ron Culcutt's Rock hopper film said, it is one of the most dangerous spot.
  5. Hi, Any rod makers in the forum? I would pay for tuition but if not but wouldn't mind reading some books if anyone has any suggestion. Cheers
  6. All the advice above are great including the etiquette on the rocks. Before buying the tackle, may I suggest that you get safety gear such as cleats, life vests and ropes if you haven't already.
  7. Hello everyone, Good to see the thread which started in 2006, going strong and great to be here. I'm Andrew (pennforever) from Hornsby Sydney area. I chase kingy off the rocks by spinning and live-baiting. Cheers
