  1. I noticed the main bed on my boat is no longer useable........protecting all the rods Also the rear bed has become a display for the lure wraps and lures............ Think I had best have a spring clean before the wife comes on board! Hmmmmmmmmm how much was yellowfin a kilo?
  2. When we were at Coffs Harbour, laying over when we bought the mates boat down from Queensland. Ww visited that big tackle store up there..................now wasn't that a mistake, for god's sake, who puts 14" Pakulas fully rigged on special at $44..................resulted in having to buy another roll
  3. I dont follow the cricket.......however received this email yesterday. The Australian bobsleigh team have asked the Aussie cricket team for a meeting. They want to ask their advice about going downhill so fast! What's the difference between Michael Clarke and a funeral director? A funeral director doesn't keep losing the ashes. What is the main function of the Australia coach? To transport the team from the hotel to the ground. On his way out into the middle to bat, Michael Clarke gets a call from his wife and a teammate tells her he's heading out to the middle. His wife replies, 'I'll hold, he won't be long!' What's the difference between an Aussie batsman and a Formula 1 car? Nothing! If you blink you'll miss them both. Who has the easiest job in the Australian squad? The guy who removes the red ball marks from the bats. What did the spectator miss when he went to the toilet? The entire Australian innings. What's the Australian version of LBW? Lost, Beaten, Walloped. Why is Michael Clarke cleverer than Houdini? Because he can get out without even trying. What do you call a cricket field full of Australians ? A vacant lot. Did you hear what the stump microphones picked up when The Ashes skippers tossed the coin? Cook called correctly and, quick as a flash, said to Michael Clarke, 'You lads can bat.' Just as quickly, Clarke replied, 'No, we can't. We really can't.' What's the difference between Michael Clarke and a phoenix? At the end of the ashes, the phoenix still has a future. What do you call an Aussie with a bottle of Champagne? A waiter. What do you call a world-class Australian cricketer? Retired. What do you call an Australian who can hold a catch? A fisherman. Why can no-one drink wine in Australia at the moment? They haven't got any openers .. What is the difference between Cinderella and the Aussies? Cinderella knew when to leave the ball. What does an Australian batsman who is playing in The Ashes have in common with Michael Jackson? They both wore gloves for no apparent reason. Who spends the most time on the crease of anyone on the Australian cricket team? The woman who irons their cricket whites. What do you call an Aussie holding a six inch urn above his head? The England coach. What's the height of optimism? An Aussie batsman putting on sunscreen.
  4. Congratulations, the first one is really special......but the feeling is great with every one.
  5. Craig came into today and grabbed some goodies for his boat, I think more then he wanted! you'll be able to see him from miles away, just quietly
  6. 100% on the way down, I was at 200m still dropping when the line went slack, I thought I lost a sinker, engaged into gear then got violent head shakes, he then raced to the surface and stated to jump. Very weird!
  7. Yes its true, we tagged 1 mako on the mountain, fighting it on the electric reel, iv never heard of any one getting a shark on the drop down to the mountain, 4kg of weight would be moving fairly quickly... Trolled SE from the mountain found a fair bit of bait busting up on the surface, pulled the gear in straight away and started to cube. Not long into the cube the 50w started to growl, took off like a fin, but was another damn mako shark cart wheeling into the distance. Kept going till 4.30 and called it quits for the long ride home. Adrian
  8. From memory your correct with that. I did the course through Marine Rescue and sat the MROVCP, maybe a little extra study, but allows the opportunity to volunteer in the Radio Room, should that arise in the future
  9. Price will be a big difference.............we are happy to quote you on both
  10. I could be available Mid week Gerry if you short of crew................now that I have EOFY out of the way and completed a goal....I'm ready to fish! other than a china trip towards the latter part of the month, which is when the fin will be on of course!
  11. The 15th July the last 2 years is when we have been out with the reports running well.....................And Scratchie, you do need to say, that YFT was NOT inside the Hawkesberry. LOL just saying..................I now have vision of all these 50Wides set out with a live bonito next to the hairtail rigs!
  12. Its not the base thats your issue. LED is Light emitting DIODE.....diode is a one way valve, if positive to negative is not the correct way around an LED will not work. On a BA15D, power flows through one of the bottom pins, and out/return to negative through the other. Incandscent globes are not polarity sensitive, so does not matter which pin touches the base. Now the important question, are you trying to fit the LED in as a replacement? Possibilites whi it will not work Have you checked the LED ? does it work? It is also a possibility, that the side pins/vertical part of the base is either the negative or positive, and the pins on the bottom are the opposite. It is not the fact that the base is two epilitics.
  13. TU.2618 is 12V 5W TU.2640 is 12V 10W Tungsram Brand which are a good quality globe, in stock Note the connection point on the bottom is two epileptic contacts not two pin points, but that should not make a difference, the contact point is the same. This is bot the same in Osram and Tungsram. Osram no longer make them, so we only have 24V available in Osram.
