Thanks for the reply! Yeah the black doesn't rub off with a rag, and it doesn't feel like line, feels different! I'm not too sure what it is!

Hey guys, just wondering how I've got these black spots on my fishing line, I used fully rollered rods, the only thing I can put it down to is rollers jamming up as line is being pulled out the of the reel? Thoughts? Thank you!
