Hi curveball, love Narooma have spent a bit of time down there, if your boating the island has a shelf on the land side to drift to to the south there are rises good for Snapper, king fish, dollies and reefies Get your livies and squid at the reef in front of the golf course first light In the lake the get Jew, flatties, tailor, there is another lake to the south can't remember the name but full of mullet and flatties In the boat If you head north to Tuross there are good and sand flats for flatties For land base head down to 1080 beach off the rocks good salmon flatties and tailor Hope this helps a bit James

Hi guys and girls I am looking at a boat ( Allycraft Kakadu Karrier 4.45with a 50hp Johnston ) but it's in cairns just wondered if any of you lot have had dealings transporting interstate? I am in Oberon NSW would only need to get it to Sydney there are a heap of freight company's just wondered if anyone had used any? Cheers James

Hi everyone we are new to the forum so first off we would like to say hi, to you all and we love the info you guys and girls have put together ? We are based out in Oberon NSW, and we are coming down on the weekend for the hairtail event, we are staying at Patonga, we were wondering about spots and where the mothership will be located?
