Hey hows it going,
This is my first report on here but i thought i'd give it a go anyways.
Last weekend i decided that i'd hit up the whiting down my way so on the friday i went out and collected enough beach worms for a quick session in the arvo around 530.
The weather was perfect, overcast, light wind and only a gentle southerly swell so i didnt have to chase my line constantly. You can imagine my suprise when the classic tap tap tap of a whiting bite had my rod in a severe bend and line screaming from my daiwa luvias 3000. In the end after a 15 minute fight i ended up landing a solid jewie. Hopefully this means my luck is turning cause ive been targeting them all year from the local beaches down here on the south coast.
