Read a couple of news website articles that had the swell at Wedding Cake Island at 6m . . .. . and some bloke, well a Brazillian World Champ, was out there on a bodyboard and caught a couple of waves! 😲

I second the Pain away, but I use the cream. My mate got Golfers elbow when we played tennis, so Tennis elbow when fishing could EASILY be a thing! 🙂

fishing from the surrounding walkway and inside the baths is banned you can only fish from the wharf. Got some good blackfish there a few years back

So sorry to hear that…. You and your wife will be changed forever, I know my parents were when my brother died. This is the best advice…… always talk about what you are going through…. As the listener you don’t have to have the magic words, often just being there is a help. I readily talk about what I have been through to anyone who wants/needs an ear. What size is your boat? that may impact their ramp recommendations .. . .

How much of the area did you try? Did you work around past the Spit Bridge and past the Middle Harbour Yacht Club? Should be plenty of options to try in that area.

This is what I remember well!

Definitely was an Aquarium as Wazza mentioned. My grandmother had a unit at Fairlight and we visited the Aquarium many times over the years. I learnt to swim in the pool at Fairlight, lots of fond memories.

Shame about the rod! Glad to see you got a few and 46 is a cracker!

Hiya Bryant, We’ve had the drinks package every cruise and I only got $h1+f@(3d on day 1 of the very first cruise. can break even without going overboard and as I mentioned, no rude shock at the end of the cruise. cheers, Stu

We’ve done a few cruises too on RC for the same reason above and have enjoyed each one. Last one was Nov last year and the crew were more from all over the place, much more multi cultural than the first cruises. Terrific service all around as Jeff B said, they all seem to really enjoy herring to know their customers! We enjoy cruise for the unpack once, great food and service, the shows are usually bloody good too. We DON’T get Internet package as it’s a get away from ‘normal’ life for us and we’re very happy lounging by the Adults only pool area reading and enjoying cocktails. My maths tells me it about 6 or 7 cocktails a day to ‘break even’ on the drinks package and it means you don’t have to worry about a bill in $US (on RC) at the end of the cruise. We’ll be doing more cruises in the future for sure. cheers, stu.
