I got a phone call from someone 'supposedly' from my bank advising me of apparant unusal purchases on my credit card. They were very friendly and did sound authentic enough to have me worried. In my office we have poor mobile reception, so to talk to them I had to leave my desk thus being unable to quickly logon to check the card online myself. They offered to cancel the card and send me a replacement to arrive the next day . . . . first warning light goes off in my brain... as I know somone who works for the company supplying credit cards and KNOW that is not possible. Second warning sign and final straw was when they wanted my PIN to 'set up the new card for you' . . . YEAH . . . NAH!!! I suggested I wasn't comfortable with that and they said 'But I've identified myself to you . . .' Ummmm, yeah nah again! I said 'no you didn't you just told me that you were from somewhere . . . .' and with that they hung up. This was two days before we were to leave on a cruise . . . so I was initially quite engaged with the conversation. Fortunately my spidey senses still work. Stay alert people.

Ahhhh the joys of wet weather cycling . . . . . I reckon you should have 'educated' the girls on the nature you brought home for them 🤣 Nothing quite as ear piercing as the squeals of young girls around bugs/cockroaches/slugs etc!

I was waiting for a bus to work one morning and two young 'ladies' in their car stopped in ht traffic right in fornt of us. Passenger proceeds to toss her ciggy butt out the open window into the gutter... I was in a bit of a mood that morning and went over, picked up the butt and tossed it back into her lap. Also informed her I'd just saved her $200 ... and she looked at me blankly... Told her that's the fine for littering in Sydney CBD. Of course when the lights change and they drove off, she looked straight at me as she threw the butt back out the window. Lotsa ppl are just grubs.

Well you're luckier than what went on in MY household . . . . I woke one night to an elbow in the ribs . .. . with the ex missus demanding to know why I'd kicked her! I said 'Why would I do that!!!' to which I got the terse reply "HOW WOULD I KNOW!" After waking up a bit more it struck me I had been dreaming I was playing footy . . . . . That explanation still didn't go down well . . . . . 🤔 😂

I'm with Noel, simple is best! We always 'just' fillet and skin, preferred size is max 35cm. Cooking is simple too . . . sometimes we dip in egg and panko breadcrumbs or sometimes coat in flour and then shallow pan fry in a bit of oil and butter. To me they are a light flavoured fish and bloody awesome. cheers, stu.

I went to one of these run by Randwick Council a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. Aimed at beginners and some ppl just turned up for the free life jackets… Those first sessions didn’t go out of the conference room, so this one having a practical component should be better!

I enjoy seeing what people with skills produce, looking forward to following the project!

I wind right handed and am VERY right handed, there are only a couple of things I can do with my left. My Dad used to bat left and bowl right handed in cricket. My sister is a lefty, Mum had to FIGHT with the school teachers for her to be allowed to write left handed. She plays golf and bats softball right handed. My youngest son grew up doing things left handed as he watched is mum and older brother doing things as lefty's, but he always kicked and threw things better right handed. Geez we're a wierd family 😂
