Hi Guys and gals,
My first post here so be gentle..lol.
I have had a crack at building my own live bait tank out of a fiberglass esky.
I have fitted the following:
a high speed pick up with ball valve
A Johnson aerator/live bait pump - 500gph
Both running to the same aerator inlet head.
Both with ball valves to stop cross flow draining.
Outlet pipe is 40mm and runs out the back of transom.
Pump on off switch is mounted on house battery - fused.
I also relocated the pick up to under the hull for the deckwash pump. - the outlet is above the battery boxes.
I have tested it al and surprise surprise it works. no leaks, no over flow.
Quick release fittings for ease of removal.
Anyway, keen to get some feedback , both good and bad.
Can post more pics soon.
Cheers
