  1. Fishing at my usual spot and offering no bites, about to move and bang.Fish was putting up a good fight so expecting nice size bream, got him up to the break wall and to my surprise it was a nice salmon as I was lifting it out of the water, ahhh!!@ bloody line snapped. Time to buy decent net, Moved after a bit to a position further up fit Cast and wham another good fight but this time managed to get out this lovely beauty, Will have to wait another day for the Salmon but I will target them. God fifgting fish Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Like yourself I am land based and sick of picking up after grubs, did a post on that issue myself. I fish along Canada bay plenty of foreshore to be had and plenty of parking to be had and you won't have to jostle for a spot, bait shop on Lyons Road to boot. Give it a go you might be surprised.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. Sorry, newbie will be careful in future Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. It never seems to amaze me how lazy some fisher men are. I can safely say that that does not include any one on this site. the foreshore of our rivers, lakes and seashore are for everyone to enjoy, so why after what looked like a good night fishing for some one, is an eyesore for everyone in the morning. Arrived at one of my fishing spots this morning to find a mess. Is it to much to ask people to clean up after themselves so we can all enjoy these facilities. I gave lost count of how many times I have cleaned up after these unscrupulous people, giving us all a bad name in the community. Bin proves my point, Tight lines every body Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Not fond of lead oxide, or any remains from from any factory that should remain nameless, catch and release only. I still remember Bopal. Cheers, Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  7. It's the nature of the bait, you will be striped of me bait than you will hook the fish. I will add, knead the bait until it is no longer sticky and lt is more like the consistency of putty and mould it around your hook . Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you all for your kind comments Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. First post so forgive me if it is listed in wrong forum. Target fish Bream pulling some nice sized fish out of the Parramatta River. Land based, only get to fish for half hour before and after rods and bait always in boot. New bait is pudding mix, beef sausage, parmansan cheese, fish sauce, minced garlic, flour and water. Works a treat. Today I pulled out my PB. stress if the day seems to have totally disappeared. Fishing should be prescribed by doctors, it is a crime that is not. I would just like to thank all the fishraiders who have posted advice on this site, it has been invaluable me as I only picked up a rod for the last year after an absence of just on 40 years, target fish then was pike, perch and the odd bream from the local lake back in Ireland. Tight line every one Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
