Hi all,
Coming back from a recent holiday on the central coast, did my fair share of fishing and realised how much more there is to chucking in a line with some bait.
Wanting to start getting into the game I've just recently bought a shimano eclipse lumo beach rod with a shimano 6000fb reel.
I'm from the Sutherland shire so it finally clicked its a more ideal area to live near for convenient fishing.
Most of my fishing is done off shore, and with my recent eagerness to learn I've been out fishing Friday night, Saturday and a quick session today.
I tried Gymea baths, a beach in Kurnell and Tom uglies bridge. From what I've seen the best time is 2 hours either side of high tide? Please correct if that's wrong?
I don't know if I am the most useless fisherman there has been! I've tried squid, pilchards and prawns.
To my understanding i am obviously doing something... Or everything wrong as I haven't even had a single bite.
I've been trying to study different rod Setups, best tackle, etc.. So am I over thinking it as beginner?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
