After many failed attempts to use soft plastics, my son and I jumped at the chance to sign up for this tutorial day. Thanks to the patience of our Tutor, Ben (Witha), we soon had our rods rigged up correctly and were shown the technique for the retrieval of the lure. With this new-found knowledge we jumped in the boat to try these lures out again. Within 10 minutes my son pulled in his first flathead which was released (undersized) and then not long after came up his first Taylor (also released). A big thanks goes out to Mr & Mrs Swordfish for organising the day, to the sponsors for supplying all of the goodies and to the tutors for generously passing on their knowledge. It was an awesome day.
