Hello to All, long time reader though this is my first post which has been inspired by my worrying sight last week of spotting two dead seals while fishing off Yena. both Seals were in the wash just off the rocks floating side by side being tossed around by the wash. after some time they disapeared from sight. of further concern while on holidays the previous week & fishing off the rocks at Merry beach on the south coast, i there spotted another dead seal in the same position floating dead in the wash just off the rocks. i don't know what to make of this. just coincidence? water polution? have hese dead seals encountered whales? or do seals terminate their lives at this time of year? any informed comments would help me to solve this mistery.
