Hi Guys, I was searching google and came accros this posts. I am travelling for a function at Hunters Hill next week Friday (17 to 19 march 2017) and thought of stopping at swansea for some blackfish. Ive occasionally seen people fishing for luderick whenever ive stopped for a break travelling from sydney. This time i intend to stop and cast my line. BTK and Nathan, i was wondering if you can guide me as to where i can get some cabbage or string weed in san remo and bugewoi. i dont know actual spots so any help from anyone will be great. Guys, I am heading off to Newcastle next week with my family. Will be taking my fishing gear with me and try to catch some luderick. Is there any spot anyone can recommend and where can i get cabbage or strand weed in that area. I will be staying in Honeysuckle, Newcastle for 2 days only. Any guidance will be much appreciated. i enjoy rock fishing and mostly go towards cronulla and bondi. Cheers all.

Mate that is a great catch. I usually catch drummer around maroubra area but way too risky with huge swells sometimes. Have never caught king fish that size. Mate would like to join you one day for fishing. is it possible to share this location. cheers

Hi mate i am a rock fisherman mostly fishing around bondi but occasionally near brighton sands. is there any location around brighton where i can collect some cabbage weed for luderick. would appreciate a lot if u can pm me if there is any known location for this special weed. Greatly appreciate any help. cheers
