If you lift the floor check for corrosion patches or pinholing in hull and stays if none you have no probs the other spots are just cosmetic

They are not a displacement hull put a decent deisel motor round 150 plus hp and you will be surprised how well they handle

The bluefin is a classic old hull repower it and you will have a very capable boat i gamefished out of one for years and have a lot of faith in thst hull

Hit my fave yday for a day trip walked bout 4kms of stream landed over 30 bows an 8 redfin sad part is the carp have moved further upstream than before and were thrashin round in packs breedind great day out some fish pushing 48cm an great cond

They are in lake macquarie as well see a couple every now an then just as good as blueys on the plate

Looking at foto your picking up loose hangin line its not gettin caught in a crack or anything close bail by hand and pull line that looks like loose loops hangin in breeze is your issue not the reel

Bfg were made in newcastle area i had a few mates who owned them and have fished out of them they sre a decent shape and handle well if motor is ok and price is low go for it
