  1. Nice catch boys and well within your rights of taking him home. Once again well done
  2. Try boat harbour at Kurnell, just be carefull as I'm pretty sure u can't take pipis, worms etc for bait from there. http://www.fisheries.nsw.gov.au/marine_pro...oat_harbour.htm
  3. Well done boys, and good to see the little fella doing something enjoyable at such an early hour!
  4. Nice catch, my fave eating too, baked in foil with loads of goodies
  5. Yep, would be keen to know ur preperation and cooking of the sambo !
  6. Nice one Mick, didn't make it back in time, but sure would of been a great arvo, defo better than looking at furniture
  7. I would be taking a nipper pump too mate, if ur staying where I think u might be camping, only a 5 min walk to grab some good free bait.
  8. Clean and scale ur fish leaving the head on. Rub fish with salt and olive oil and lay on ally foil. Fill cavity with sliced red onion, carrots, sliced ginger and garlic. Lay another foil on top and fold edges to seal fish and juices in. Put in 200C pre-heated oven for 15-20 mins (fish is ready when eyes have turned white). While this is cooking, knock up some rice and a dip for dish. For dip get a small bowl, pour some soy sauce, fish sauce, chopped red onion, chopped chilli and chopped tomato and chopped corriander and mix well. Use a teaspoon to add dip to fish and rice. Put fish on a serving plate, heat a small amount of olive oil in pan, and then drizzle over the fish. Then throw away ur knives and forks and get stuck in with ur hands, whilst drinking a nice cold beer !!
  9. Head out to the 3rd runaway this morn, first cast out on a prawn, pulled in a 30cm bream. Went a little quiet for an hour, was contemplating pulling up the anchor when my mate mick got a little tap, started reeling in and then ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. 15 mins later landed a beauty 68 cm almost 3kg Kingy. Very quiet after that, see something lurking around the boat on the surface, tried to throw some burley out and god knows how, managed to hit him in the back of the head Went back up stream, Mick pulls in another little cracker, a 45cm flatty. A good mornings fishing was had by all, and I think he was glad I was out of the boat
  10. Nice reddie mik, was looking forward to eating that one on Easter Sunday !! Bugga Never mind will have to catch me own today, if i'm not too
