  1. Arman Photo's would be great cheers bob
  2. Thanks Hodgey, and yes I have been lucky with the shrimp and also the flesh off the yabbie tail I did also try worms but they wern't such a good hit on the menu, although some of my friends have been using scrub worms with success. Cheers Cindy. Hi if you are referring to the slid on camper behind the boat it is a custom built camper which slids onto the back of our ute and then becomes free standing when set up similar to the Carry Me Campers made by the Candy's this way no matter where we go we can take our resting place and most of all the boat. Cheers Cindy.
  3. I know that area pretty well and most of the folks out there, who was your mate. Cheers Cindy.
  4. Hi Ross the river levels are still not good here, most of the time you can walk across the river in places it is a matter of looking for the deep holes to catch a fish. It is only high at the moment as they are doing inviromental flows, I will take some pics when the river is at its normal level and send them to you it will have your head shaking. And yes I would go fishing in extrem hot weather as I love the summer and there is always a tall cool redgum to seek some shade from. Cheers Cindy.
  5. Glen yellowbelly are good to eat at the right times, at the moment they are on the run so they are nice and lean and there flesh is clean, sometime if you catch them in dams they can be abit fatty and have a muddy taste to them. If you get a chance you should give freshwater fish a try you will be quite pleased. Cheers Cindy.
  6. Hi Guys haven't put a report in for awhile so I thought I would share this one with you. Went down to Tathra at the beginning of the month for a week hoping to get some fishing in but the weather was a shocker if it wasn't raining it was blowing a gale , so we only got to get the boat wet once although we did get to do some good whale watching. On our arrival back home to the Riverina we were greeted with a high river so not wasting any time we sunk the tinny into the river and tried our luck. On our first day we caught nothing but Murry Cod which of cause all went back and it is nice to see our river alive with cod again, we would have caught up to 20 of all different sizes. We hit the river the next day deciding to put a full day in with a B.B.Q lunch and drinks on the banks of the river and with a change of luck bagging out on Golden Perch or better known as yellowbelly it sure made our day .Cheers Cindy.
  7. Hey Bob if you dont do any good with that monster on the Marlin you can always bring it down here and we can try it in the river and see if we can entice a great a Murrycod out of his hole or better still just sit around and share a cold
  8. Hey Robbielites he wasn't wrong, very clever.
  9. Hi Ray yes we do get the Murrycod in our river we also get Golden and Silver Perch, sometimes Redfin and not forgeting the rotton Carp. Here are a few pics of earlier catches. Cheers Cindy.
  10. Hi Guys just thought I would show you the view from my kitchen window, I live right on the banks of the Murrumbidgee river and with a view like this it makes dish washing an enjoyment. Also it is the crayfish season here so we have been enjoying sitting by the fire eating crays and following them down with a ice cold beer. Cheers Cindy.
  11. Hey Bob Its nice to see she has finally arrived, she looks like something to boast about, will be down within 2 weeks so hope to get on board and wet a line with you. Tight Knots Cindy.
  12. I agree keep them coming, I never get sick of looking at photo's and sceneries such as these. Also a big thanks to Ross and Bob for your help with passing them on to my daughter I would be lost without you both. Tight Knots Cindy.
  13. They were so good I spent most of my time scrolling down saying, " oh look at that " that was most enjoyable, I sure would have liked to send it to my daughter but not sure if it is possible or even how to do it anyway great viewing. Tight Knots Cindy.
  14. Hey Guys we have been useing one of these ovens for years now and they are great, you can put anything in them from pies, bacon and egg rolls to left overs from the night before. Not only do we use ours on the boat we use it for when we are travelling, we premake our bacon and egg rolls or our lunch in foil trays and heat it as we travell. Not only do you get a better and cleaner meal the saving on takeaways or eatins are amazing, well worth there money. Cheers Cindy.
