Good bait? What fish would you be targeting if you use rock cale as bait? Would it be like a strip bait type of bait? Cheers, Richard

Thanks for the heads up. I'm aware that if the fish is not listed on the DPI saltwater fish list then it is assumed that you are able to keep a maximum of 20 with no legal size limit. Doesn't hurt to try the fish once

Went out to the Kurnell rocks to target some luderick with a blackfish float setup. Many other fishermen present, only 1 or 2 fish caught in the span of 3-4 hours. While I didn't catch any luderick, I was able to catch these 2 fish. Anyone have any idea what these fish are? Cheers.

Hey Fishraiders! Recently I went down to Magic Point (marourbra) with my mate for a short fishing sesh. We found a very nice spot there but it seemed almost impossible to reach the spot without performing at least a 2m+ jump down (and how would we even get back up?) In the end, we ended up fishing on some overhead rock platforms which were at least 10+ metres above the water - very difficult to land any sizable fish For people who have fished at Magic Point, where would you guys suggest us to specifically go? If you guys know what spot I'm talking about, how would you guys get down/back up? Highly appreciated! Kind Regards, Richard

Hello, Fishraiders! Long time lurker, first time posting Coming from Sydney, my mates and I have decided to travel down South for a short 3-day fishing trip We are interested in finding some land based fishing spots for fishing around the Minnamurra/Bombo/Kiama area Any suggestions/recommendations would be highly appreciated! Yeah I tried to but at Marourbra Beach particualarly the waves are so, how can I put this, fast? They crash everywhere and there is no apparent gutter when I try to find one.

Nice feed from Maroubra as usual wchh! I gave Maroubra a spin a week back and it was really difficult to spot gutters for some reason. Ended up fishing some random spot and didn't get any bites. Any tips on locating gutters? Thanks mate!
