Thanks Trev, yeah I'm really enjoying my bream and flatty's at the moment. I've actually picked up a few Sabiki rigs so once I have mastered the art of catching the live bait. I will turn my attentions to areas like the bridges etc. yeh the eel tails are everywhere at night especially around "the vines"

Evening, new member and first time poster. I'm new to the area, I just moved to Brooklyn over a month ago and love it down here. I have really dived in head first into fishing and am obsessed at the moment. Just looking for some advice on some seconds fishing spots. We had some success at Bar point. I don't keep my fish I always catch and release. Caught 3 bream (32cm,29cm & 23cm)an eel tailed cat fish and a small blue swimmer crab. We also had some success at Fishermans point caught 2 flatheads ( 30 & 51cm). We fished the bridge at the m1 for a while to no avail. We had a few big bites and line break. I would just like to hear of some nice fishing spots with boat access and also land based. I have not had much luck from land based fishing at all. If anyone has any suggestions at all with local knowledge I would really appreciate it as I would love to tap into the local knowledge and people or even join a local fishing group.
