Is there a way to get a kayak just up past the Weir?

Just out of curiosity how do you access the railway dams?

I've heard that Ourimbah creek is a good spot up past the Weir in the warmer months, I'd recommend taking a kayak or finding somewhere to go landbased coz there's no way that you can get a boat up past the Weir

Shit the channel has really closed up since I last went there
