Thanks Greenhornet, heaps of good info there. What makes Lake Wollumboola hard to fish? The reef from Callala Bay, is it easily accessible and worth fishing? I saw somewhere that it was about a 100m pedal from jetty, is that right?

Hi guys, Will be staying at right on the sand at Callala Bay over the next week, Dad and I both have pedal kayaks and will be looking to target mainly flathead. Looking for advice firstly on where to collect bait (squid, nippers and prawns) and also where we should spend most of our time fishing. We will definitely fish Currumbene Creek but were also thinking of the Bay itself, the Basin, Woolumboola Lake and Crookhaven river, are any of those stand outs? I haven't found much info on Callala Bay itself, does it fish well? Any advice/locations welcome! Cheers
