  1. Nice work! I've always wanted to throw a few crab pots out in the Hawkesbury, but I always seem to forget them at home when I'm loading the boat at 3am! hahaha that's a solid feed for the family! This has totally inspired me to bring my crab pots with me next time... Though i'll have to write a note on the back of my hand or on the windscreen of my car or something, to ensure I remember!! If you don't mind me asking what sort of depth range did you put the pots out in??
  2. Hey Everyone, Just wanted to ask if anyone has heard any whispers about when the bluefin might turn up around Sydney this year? I've seen some barrels on FB taken off Tasmania, wondering if the south coast NSW guys have seen any, or if anyone has a prediction for when they might make their way up the coast this year? Cheers, Hamstr
  3. Cheers for the report Rick! Unfortunate the conditions and fish didn't play ball on this occasion , but at least you got out there and had a good crack! And a few bream for dinner is a good consolation prize to me.
  4. Congrats on your first marlin mate! All the more sweet that you managed it on a Stella!! What were the water conditions like?
  5. Solid Fish there mate I bet they stretched the arms!!! Those are some very pretty jigs! Cheers for the intel.
  6. Not a bad day out at all!! Shame about the lack of marlin, but the mako and PB dolly would have been good fun! Cheers for the report.
  7. Nice one Swordy! Some good size Kings there! Happy Dayz
  8. Great session! Gotta be happy with those results! Were you near the mouth of the river? Or further upstream? Water looks very brown...
  9. Hello Raiders, I'm a long time reader and first time poster to this awesome forum, even before becoming a member I have been reading all of your wonderful posts for years, and am already thankful to everyone on here for all the information that you provide to each other and me! That brings me to the point of my post, I am planning a trip up to SWR for the Easter long weekend, I've been up there once before and had a blast catching kingys, dollies and mack tuna. Mainly fishing around Fish Rock and a few reefs. Sorry I should mention I have a 7m centre console, tri-hull, Eagle Ray Boat
