Try for squid around callala beach or long beach and head to the middle grounds and long nose. If you’re around husky I can’t offer much for the squid.

April is the best fishing month for Sydney and south coast 🤩🤩🤩🤩 Sydney harbour fishing charter operators are the best value but as already advised & will be booked up very fast, pay your deposit now and sleep easy. You have a huge exchange rate advantage so $$$$ is cheap. I am retired & might be around to catch up. Cheers Waz

They were great days $60 for a box of frozen WA pillies and out to the peak midweek for a cubing session for fin , we were lucky a mate was a deckee for occy and we get the tip and head out weather permitting for a trailer boat.

Guy Witchard usually cooks them up fresh off his trawler at patonga wharf in the mornings. Great bloke and tasty 😋 prawns 🦐

The fish are good to eat out of the harbour , it’s fish up the parramatta river that you should be avoiding. There were consumption warnings which may have been species specific years ago. I recommend you do a google search or contact fisheries dept for clarification. Oceanside fish are good to go 👍 Good luck & stay safe
