    Good effort for the session, I myself thought the legal size was 27cm until a year back and realised it wasn't. As for the reel was the outside with freshwater then take it apart and clean the inside with freshwater and let everything dry then put it back together. Should be right, happy to be corrected.

    Good work Yowie, managed a feed in the end. Seems to be a bit of a lull in the fishing with the small differences in the high and low tides.

    Thanks Yowie, good to know. Salmon was barely hooked so felt right to unhook it and throw it back. Thanks Larkin, few mates of mine have reported a few whiting about but had somewhere to be today so no go on the flats.

    Headed out early from Yowie bay to lilli pilli and anchored in the deep. Set out a live yakka and an assortment of baits including squid, pillies, and flesh baits. No bites until light and then a bit quiet with the odd bite here and there. My dad pulled out the two reddies whilst I pulled out two stingrays, the first I have got in this spot. Dad also pulled out a low 40’s salmon which was released. Yakkas went untouched. Not many other bites, all in all a quiet day.

    Can’t believe the panthers have done it. Honestly the fact they came back they deserved to win , but with 20 minutes to go my dad said that’s game and went to bed only for me to wake him up with the panthers winning
