  1. Sounds like the bass bug has bitten you hard....I fished a very likely looking area yesterday further down the South Coast....all the potential in the world but zip...very frustrating... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Well done mate....stonker fish the system must be very healthy down there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Camo...absolutely just down load your gopro clips to your camera roll and then from within the iMovie app you can see all of the clips and pics in your camera roll. I basically took about 20-30 mins of footage and grabbed the snippets i wanted for the clip...they should call it 'movie making for dummies' cause its that dam easy..have a crack and let us know how you go... You basically create a 'project' so yep you could just clean up your clips to take out the start and finsh where you turn the camera on and off, but collating them and grabbing serval clips to make a new clip is where it works really well. 4. whit3cloud - Thanks. Its a Stratos 486 sf (ski/fish). Works really well for me with the family....150 optimax, electric motor (upgrading to ipilot this week), live well, sounder, forward and rear casting decks etc. but it has a removable ski pole, bimini for family fun days...all sits on an alloy trailer....I imported in new from the US in 2011. Perfect in the estuaries, rivers and lakes but rubbish off shore as very low profile but it suits us to a tee. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Snuck out with my boys (Lizard Boy & Jnr Jnr Poddy) on saturday morning. Cracking conditions light winds and overcast. Tough going early, found a taylor school which was fun. Got some small reds, trevs and squid. Decided to make a final move before pulling the pin and it paid off with a 68cm and 50 cm within 5 mins of each other. Put a video together using the iMovie APP. Trust me if you've never used it, give it a go, its that dam simple, if I can do it anyone can have a crack.....loving the GoPro, well its Lizard Boys but dads can have some perks too i reckon. 6. Nice lads. Ha, the missus just reminded of my 80 lb Minn Kota with i-pilot that arrived this that I ordered at the boat show. Nothing like selective memory when it come to all things fishy and boaty. She described it as that bazooka looking thingy for the front of your boat....I think she thinks it shoots some kind of harpoon at fish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Happy Father's Day to all FishRaider dads. All set for my summer popper sessions now. How did they know I was running low on lucky craft NW pencil's and wanted to give those Bent Minnows are run this season... What did other Raiders get? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Had some some fun last weekend down the far south coast. Got stuck into some Salmon on poppers and metals....missing my bream on poppers and this made up for it. Also get a few flatty's and trevs too... Put a quick video together....hope you like it!!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Wow, the morning was very average and I didn't think we'd actually get out in the arvo. I sounded out in a few areas and didn't mark any bait or fish...looking forward to summer though....
  10. Haven't been out in forever, but managed to sneak out yesterday afternoon onto a very smooth Botany Bay. Found a few surface feeding schools that wouldn't eat a placcy but Jnr Jnr Poddy managed to whack one on a metal. Turned out to be a nice Trev. With placcy bite slowed tied on a blade and nailed this nice Flat fish too. Just good to be back in the game really. PT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nice work, does Dora Creek end up fresh up near the hwy. think I've driven over it many times and thought that maybe it held bass? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Eel for breakfast, think I'll stick with the coco pops thanks all the same. Shame you could whack a bass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yep we didn't get a look at him but think it had to have been 1.5m given the bite size. We think the Jew would have gone 80cm. Yep that's foreshore alright. Been going there for over 30 years. Great spot....not sure what we'd do if they ever sold it.
  14. Been flat out recently but wanted to get something up. Headed to Nambucca in January, it was a little tougher than other years. The most memorable capture would have been the head only of a solid Jew that got Bull Sharked only 50m from where we normally have water ski days. We also scored some good flatty's LizardBoys 66cm was one of the best. Along with some nice bream too. Coyote lizard A Jew that didn't get Sharked that was taken on 3lb braid and 4lb leader. Poddy preparing for a session. We did hit some bass in the McClay while up there and manage 23 for the session . Sorry no pics on my camera but best went 42. Last weekend we walked in for a quick bass session in Sydney and I managed a couple plus 30's which were a bit of fun too. Got to fly....Later Raiders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Fantastic trip mate. Nothing like the reward of pulling a bass after putting in a massive effort. Congrats on the pb 46's and 47's are cracking wild bass.
  16. Nice work Angry Ant. Shame you didn't nail the marlin. We just back yesterday from 2 weeks up there too. Just hit the estuary etc must be quite a lot of small Jew around. We got sharked when hooked up to one of them....will post in a few days one I get my pics in order.
  17. Cheers boys. We did think that or baby Samson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Have been up at Nambucca for a few weeks. Report coming at some stage. But we caught this guy today in the estuary and can't identify it. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Wow!!!! Those bass are horses!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Good to see Conjola on fire still. Yep you can hire boats from post office/takeaway/video outlet/news agent/tennis court hire /..../... Have the cicada's stopped hatching yet? Masses and masses of them there over Christmas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hmmm crap on the land and crap in the water. Thanks for doing Australia proud and cleaning up both!!! Did you turn him into cat food? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If there was a Report of the Month comp, this would have my vote for sure. Bummed your surface bite was nowhere to be seen though, still some cracking bass taken during the week. Well done as always. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Wow what a honker of a PB Breambo. Congrats to your young fella! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
