mangonui /cruisecraft , that seems unusual for miya epoch reels , but i do think that model is a bit too small for deep drops like at browns ,20 to 30 mins to bring the line in is pretty long , i use the miya epoch x8s and it's perfect , heaps stronger than the tenacom bull 1000 , had them side by side and the miya epoch x8s kills it for strength in my opinion , although the x8s are more expensive aswell , as they say you only get what you pay for , i just ordered another one so i have one on each corner on my boat , love em! yeh , the blue one is the Tenacom bull 1000 and is a bit bigger, the new markham 9800 is a very nice boat , the latest (july)F&B mgazine has a huge write up on them. Joe.

Nice King's , the reel looks like the 750FE as the 1000 is blue, the 750 is the next one on my list of gadgets , what boat did your mate buy , from the pic of the bow rails looks like it might be a cat?? Joe.

We went out to the peak sunday morning in pretty crappy seas and managed to jig up a few kings around the 75cm mark , but we had to leave early as my crew turned green , i thought it was around 9km from the heads? Joe.
