  1. Well done Scratchie, a good feed there and not a mention of any F.A.Gs....I haven't wet a line since Darwin
  2. Hey Dom, Nice fish and congrats !!! Did the improvement to the boat ramp fix the problem with the surging ? Cheers, GUDude
  3. Good luck Ray, hope you catch a horse...
  4. G'Day Poacher, Yes, you can easily launch a 6 meter boat from the Wooli ramp. Then access to the ocean via the bar, as Dicko said it can get really messy and there have been a few boats lost so watch the weather. Cheers, GUDude
  5. Nice boat and a very nice fishing location ! How did you go towing from Cairns to Gove ? Did you go via the Savannah Way ? Cheers, GUDude
  6. I usually burley up with a tin of creamed corn, then use corn kernels or worms as bait. The small squigys ~50mm also work well. cheers, GUDude
  7. Great video ... its like I was there. Top water fishing for Barra has gotta be one of the best ways ... Cheers, GUDude
  8. Very nice fish, but its a nile perch ... close cousin to the Barra I think. Cheers, GUDude
  9. G'day Geoff, Did they mention if they are going to put up a podcast of the show ??? Cheers, GUDude
  10. G'day Jim, I believe the PCD of the 6 stud Patrol is the same as the 80 series, the difference which stops the swapping of rims, between vehicles, is the lug diameter. When using them for trailers I think this doesn't matter, anyone please correct me is I'm wrong. So is there such a thing as a six stud 10 inch hub disc combination ? I can't go the 12 inch version as then I'll have to also replace the brake mounting plate on the axle. Cheers, GUdude
  11. G'day Raiders, I want to replace the boat trailer 5 stud disc/hubs with 6 stud disc/hubs so I can use larger 16 inch patrol rims. From my research/enquiries on the www it looks like the 6 stud version only come with a 12" disc. Does anyone know if there is a 10" version of the 6 stud/hub ? Cheers, GUDude
  12. Champions ! What a great read, Well done. Cheers, Gudude
  13. G'Day Matty, I have fished for them on the Abbercrombie river using small plastics ~50mm and the small hardbodies in the rainbow trout colour. They get real hungry when stuck in pools as the river dries up, great fun on light spin gear. Cheers, GUDude
  14. Excellent adventure ! slinkymalinky Nice 'toga, thats one fish high on my "to catch" list. Cheers, GUDude
