If you are buying a new vehicle, then make sure its AWD. Some ramps are just too slippery for RWD. My boat is light and on low tide, without AWD (or 4WD is what I have, different car) the rear wheels always skid until the front ones engage. And get the heavy duty tow pack. Apart from that, it should tow your boat fine. I personally prefer owning a diesel motor for towing, but it will do...

Thanks for the replies! Its nice to get to know a nice bunch of ppl... Yes it goes really well, it still needs to go back and get tweaked and to see if the propellor is the right one. I got 60 km/h out of it on 4000 RPM so far. Couldn't go any faster because of the conditions and abit of fear hehe.
