Hi Frank, I am liking the 2300 also. Couldn't get down to the show to see it in the flesh. I had John from Caribbean send me pics as the boat was just built, looks like a great rig. I would love one, and would also like to hear any first hand experience with these boats. I would assume that it would be similar to the 2400. The only thing about these boats as well as most of the other Aussie built boats is the asking price. Between $120k-$150k depending on power, trailer, electronics. Pricing on a 680 patriot is also similar. At that price I could only dream about owning either of these boats! Call me out of touch but I just cant see the value when you compare it to what you could buy for $75k landed from the US, even with the dollar the way it is ATM. Maybe im wrong in saying all this or maybe $100k is the starting benchmark for a decent 6-7m trailerboat! Love to hear other opinions. Michael.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. May need to re-think my tow vehicle or maybe look at the patriot 650 or 650 Classic. Does anyone know the tow weights of these rigs?

Hi Everyone, I am looking into buying a patriot or Encore 680 in the next 18months but also need to consider a tow vehicle. The vehicle will also be used for work so am considering either, Navara, colorado, Ranger or Bt50. I would love to hear from any 680 owners as to what their total tow weight is. Cheers Mick.
