nice one Dazzler, whats your trick to cooking salmon?

We went out as planned yesterday arvo. Fortunately went in my mates Maritimo 55 and not the Whaler, because coming back was very ordinary. We cubed albies and 2 jelly bean 10kg yft. lost something much bigger on a ballon bait, don't think it was a mako as didn't jump. Weather looks bad for next 5 days, so hope we can get another crack before the full moon. Cheers, Jamie

Hey Damo, we are heading out this arvo on Bonito, thought I'd cube till dark SE of Browns, you guys going out today, got any advice for me?

We hit Browns at 2 pm yesterday Damo, and cubed for 3 hours for zero, a few boats were fishing the bottom and saw one catch a nice blue eye. Glamour conditions but still no yft yet. How'd you guys go?

Thanks for the marks we fished out front of avalon 5k today water was way cold at 20 degrees, have not heard any reports from Canyons but with two marlin sighted today it must be worth a trip, good luck tomorrow let me know how you go. yeah just read your report we were off Avalon at 7am today and were considering Hole, but decided to leave it, great sighting good luck tomorrow

I'm planning to fish the Canyons this week out of Broken Bay has anyone been out last few days? I'd also welcome any advice in terms of GPS marks, travel time at 25 knots, FADS worth checking on the way out,techniques for billies. Would really appreciate any experienced advice.

Headed out from Mackerel Beach at 5am this morning, squid seemed to have totally shut down with the xmas boat traffic. Managed some yakkas and headed to a few offshore marks. Nothing but one rat for first three hours then slow trolling bait past a bomby and bang! Right on the tide change the hoodlums hit. Double hook-ups and general carnage prevailed for an hour followed by a nice finsh on a reef for a few more over 75cms. Great day and great company, thanks Rothy and Craig.
