best way I have found is chill your water in the fridge when cold put it in a plastic garbage can add salt a little at a time until a raw egg will float just with the air end of the egg about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch out of the water then your salt is at the right amount.soak your fish for 3/4 to 1hour in the brine take it out and put in to some chilled water to take the salt of pat dry put it in the smoker will turn out tops

hi it was white and like fat. I have had mullet very big and thin from the same mate and calls them rails I think that is how spell it , that is just after the spawning so what you say morwong might be on the right track

it look like fat it was white there was no eggs .unless it was the early start be for the eggs had formed

hi can some one tell me about these mullet they were very big fish when I was cleaning them on both the in side of the gut was heaps of white fat when I pulled it out and through it in the water it floated , the fish was a beautiful eating.is this always in mullet I have never seen that much before regards spearby

hi I went to buy some spinning gear today one shop I went to had that much gear i was so confused they didnt seam to want to help so I went to a bait and tackle shop told the guy I had never fished this way before could he help 1/1/4 hours late left with all the gear i wanted he put the line on the reel showed me how to tie thr braid to the leader gee its eazy when you get the right guidance thanks to XXXXX tackle i will go back for sure spearby [MOD] Edited business name from post. hi can some one give me some idea which dvd i could buy to help me with soft plastic fishing for bream and flathead . I only fish in the rivers and lakes but people have told me it is not easy any help would be very much appreciated spearby
