Went out for a fish on Saturday with a few mates, the plan was to go out for kingies but it was pretty quiet. So we decided to head up into Greenwich for the first time ever to throw some plastics around. This 45cm bream was the end result The Bream was safely released to fight another day. I heard that bream grow 1 cm each year would that make this fish close to 40 years old??? Cheers Brenny.

Mate we used it for the first time on sat. not to keen to se it again. Make sure you take a long strong rope as you have to beach your boat then drag it up the side of the ramp on the sand. But it great fishing out there. Good luck mate!!!

I want to use it for kings mainly in the harbor.but dont want to spend to much.

i reckon it would have been another squid probaly one about the same size as the monster you got. try bringing the line up very slowly next time or baiting up your pilchard on a squid jig. You can get jigs that just have the small rods with the barbs on the end, they are made for baits. good luck next time
