hi raiders its been a while since i have posted but been busy with work and little man, im looking at getting a yalta 189 daycab with a 115 hp motor but dont know much about this boat i had a haines signature before a 542 and was happy with the boat. but i had to sell it to renovate..... k now im looking at a yalta can anyone give me some info of how they ride ect ect,,,, thanks

WENT OUT TO THE HAROUR TODAY GOT ON THE WATER AT 5AM WENT TO BALMORAL TO GET SOME LIVIES AFTER A WHILE OF NOT GETTING ANY I FINALLY GOT A FEW BITES AND STARTRED GETTING A FEW YELLOWTAIL FOR BAIT' I THEN WENT OUT TO THE COLOURS AND STARTED DOWNRIGGING AND COULDNT GET A BITE!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT DOWNRIGGING JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE FOUND IT AS HARD AS I DID?????????

i was out in the bay yesterday..... i got off to a late start due to the little one keeping us up all night but i got out there and fished the last hour of the run out and three hours of the run up i ended up with about fish great day to be out there !!!!!!!!!!

hey keflapod i was in shallow water around towra i move about until i find the fish!!!! sometimes i move up to 4-5 times it really is a pain to lift the anchor so many times but i luv catching my bream and whiting on light rods and line.... i didnt get any whiting this time which i found strange???? maybe next time

I went out today at 530am and fished the run up tide. Bait was nippers, that i pumped yesterday. I fished for 3 hours, caught over 25 fish but released about 10 fish between 25 to 28cm, i kept 15 fish which were 28 to 39 cms. All in all a good day.

Thanks for the reply guys!!!!!!!! We fished in 4-7 metres deep and there was algal weed in some spots which makes for hard fishing but it beats working or staying at home!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I cant wait to go again and try my downrigger on the kings!!!!!!!!!!!

We were fishing many of my spots that produce fish but it was very hard to find them!!!!!!!!!!!! but we found most fish in the middle of the bay wide off towra point and we fished with worms for bait

Hi Guys, Been busy and havent been fishing, however on holidays me and a mate went out yesterday, had a good day, caught 36 fish all up, 2 whitting, 1 flounder, 1 flathead, 2 travelly and 30 bream, the biggest bream went 38cm. Can't wait to get out there again.

thanks slinky!!!! thanks!!!!! i caught them on both tides at night mainly but caught some during the morning..... i was fishing the southern end of the bay!!!!! but it was very choppy with the strong winds.... but it was great fun ........ cant wait to get out there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i caught the bream and whiting on bloodworms i had prawns and squid but they went the worms!!!!!!! HI, I would have come to the social but had to be home early on Sunday as i had other commitmets. Maybe the next social! Here is the whiting photo! Cheers Con

[attachmentid=33913Hi Guys, Just thought i tell how i went on the weekend, fished Botany Bay, got blown away with the wind but still managed a few fish. All In all caught 18 whiting biggest was 44cm and 12 bream the biggest 41cms. It was a good day.
