  1. yeah i only just got most the stuff so who ever has it got themselves a nice little set up haha
  2. Hi Guys its a bit of a long shot but today between 5.30pm and 7.30pm someone has picked up my purple aldi bag with all my fishing lures and leaders, two rods and reels and my wallet inside from near the wash down area that i left there. If by any chance someone has picked them up it would be great if they could give me a call on 0422 450 992.
  3. hi guys has anyone used the Kato karnage top walk 105 lures? i had a play with them the other day but it seems the only time the lure worked was if i high sticked it with a steady retrieve. Even then it would sit on top of the water for a little while then roll and go crazy. Im new to surface lures so wondering if its the technique im using or the lure.
  4. pity about the wind but all in all sounds like a good trip! well done!
  5. Thanks mate I've actually been craving some fresh squid so hopefully I'll have something to report Sunday arvo!
  6. Well from the sounds of it snapper might be off the cards! I don't really mind what I catch. What's most around at the moment?
  7. Thanks for the info guys!
  8. Hi guys, if the weather is ok on sunday im heading out in botany bay and am after some tips. Thinking of fishing the drop off around south head for the run out. would anyone recommend anchoring up and setting up a burley trail? it would be nice to get a snapper. Might also look for some calamari around bare island. any tips would be great! thanks Burnsie
  9. Yeah just have a play around with it. If u can get a 12v light u could even just hold it across an existing switch to try it out and see if it work mate
  10. Hi mate I think this is possible as clipsal have a range of domestic light switches that do this. I don't know how much you understand about electrical principles but the led is wired in parallel with the switch. When the switch is off current will flow through the led, Through the load eg nav lights and back through there neutral to the battery. Once the switch is on the current will take the path of least resistance which is through the switch and the led will be off. For this to work you need to be able to access both the active and neutral cables for the inbuilt led of the switch panel which might be a problem as it might be hard wired to the switch. Also if you forget to turn off your main isolating switch after a days fishing or you don't have one either way your battery is going to be drained by what every the switch controls if the switch is on or the led if the switch is off. With this way also the leds are going to be on when ever the switch is off even in day light hours and could maybe burn them out quicker. I don't know how long they will last. To get around this you could wire the actives for the LEDs through there own switch. In saying all this I haven't done this my self and this is based on my electrical understanding. Cheers Burnsie
  11. That's right as long as u select what battery u want its isolated
  12. Ok makes sense. With those switches they only switch what battery is powering anything connected to the feed terminal. To do what you want you would probably have to have two separate switches and separate the cables feeding your accessories and the motor. But you wouldn't do it. Just do as oz_brett said above.
  13. Hi mate you don't have your battery 2 cable connected to the C terminal do you? Battery 1 goes to terminal 1, 2 battery to 2 terminal and C terminal is the outgoing power.
