I was up my sisters place on Berowra Waters over the weekend .And there were 1000s of baby prawns under the deck of her house. No wonder we found it hard to get a fish .But we got all the roof cleared. And now I've got some brownie point racked up.I can got up and have serious fish soon
  7. I'm heading up to my sisters place. To clean up the roof and gutters before the bushfire season starts. The good thing is she lives at Berowa Waters. So there's no road access .So it's work by day. And fish by night

    Rock Fishing

The lighter the sinker the less chance you have of snaging. But if you want to fish a floating rig.Try a small bobby cork down to pea sized ball sinker then about a 1/2 meater of trace tired to a 1/o or 2/o hook. And try to fish it in close to the wash.Hope this helps.Good luck
  9. G,day gang I hired a yak from the the Spit Bridge yesterday (Tues)Hit the waster about 9.20am.The plan was to head up to Quacker Hat Bay.Along the way I was carsting to any likely looking snags, moored boats and sand flats that I found.Got buzzed by seagulls at a few moorings so I left them to it.Got plenty of small bream and a few whiting . I did get one bream of around the 30cm mark that was also released as it was a hot day and I had no way of keeking it cool.Still had a great day anyway
  10. G,day gang! As I was saying last week myself and a mate went for a wade around Bayveiw flats on Sun.We got there at about 9.30am. To fish the run out. As we thought this would be best.Three hours and numeros lure changes each we sill had no keepers .A few small bream and some fun sight casting to a cruseing Longtom was about it .But what the hell still better than sitting on your bum and whatching the box
