  1. If you spend enough time fishing the rocks you tend to gain a lot more respect for Mother Nature and how unforgiving she can be. Not a laughing matter to be honest. I'd take on the advice from fellow raiders .....just saying.
  2. I'm on the Central Coast Mike happy to take you out one day been fishing off the rocks for drummer lately .....won't be till after school holidays tho just pm me and we can sort something out Cheers Geoff.
  3. I use the pole/mountain bike accessory kit and mount it to the front rail of my tinny ...
  4. Save your $$$$ and get yourself a pair of Costa's I think i paid $350 at a popular fishing store in the central coast ...haven't looked back since ! And I do a lot if driving for work so I use them as everyday sunnies too work a treat !
  5. I live closer to the water ....better you bring it to mine and we go for a fish lol !
  6. Thank you very much for the replies can always rely on raiders .....saved me a lot more of ringing and shipping around
  7. Ok thanks ! Seems the next flurry of shipments to Oz of the Hero 3 Black is due to arrive this week/month ...
  8. Hi all I'm in the market for a gopro hero 3 ....seems they are out of stock going off the official website.... Anyone know where Im best going to get one ? Cheers Geoff
  9. I been living hear just on 12months now and it's taken me this long to work it out. At the moment big tides .... 3 hours behind. Hope that helps
  10. Give it a miss while the swell is pumping mate not worth it.
  11. G'day I got a Yamaha 40hp 4stroke on my 4.1 Rhino and am very happy with it ! Very economic and quiet and you don't have to worry about adding oil.... If your concerned about the weight try putting the fuel tank, batteries etc up the front to keep it even. And make sure it's electric start and tilt/trim. Good luck ! Geoff
  12. Cheers PlayerOne ! Over the moon went out for a run today with the mrs. it went perfect to what I expected, tomorrow going out solo so will notice the difference I guess
  13. Thanks for the replies, ended up getting it .... Very happy 😄
  14. G'day Raiders, I'm set on getting this 4.1 Alleycraft Topender both hull and motor are 2004, but have since been told to be cautious of the weight of the motor plus the fuel and battery aswell as it being a tiller steer so the driver is also over the rear... I intend to evenly distribute the weight ie ; under floor tank, and moving the batteries towards the front or even a centre or side console. I guess the best way is to put it in the water and go for a spin but just curious on what the experienced have to say .... Cheers Geoff
