  1. Great video. Thanks guys. It felt like being out there with you. Absolutely my favourite type of fishing, chasing the bust ups on light gear. Looking forward to the next video....
  2. great report nothing quite beats the excitement of knowing you're onto a good fish
  3. Yup I've donated a whole $400 set up to a king as well. I feel your pain
  4. Ive caught a few in north harbour. When theyre on they are exciting as hell.
  5. I think in my next life I wanna come back as your kid. That looked awesome fun.
  6. Mate I feel for you on the phone. I bought a go pro after losing 2 phones in the harbour. Also lost $400 worth of rod reel line and lure over the edge the other week trolling. That'll teach me to tighten the rod holder up properly in future. It's an expensive business this fishing lark!
  7. I was in the boat next to you when your first slimy got nailed. The three of us in our boat lost all our live and dead squid baits to pickers. So went off and fished the bust ups for basically nothing. Wish we'd stocked up on livies and come back to join you. Great haul mate. Well done
  8. I usually manage to get a good feed up near belongil creek using plastics. I don't know about rock fishing though. Try just north of belongil creek in the gutters there for consistent catches of flathead especially, but you'll get all the other usual suspects too. To get there drive to the golf course, park where the road runs out, then cut across the course and stroll down to the beach. This route brings you out right next to the creek, walk left from there and good luck.
  9. All the professional squidding boats Ive seen in Thailand and stuff all use massive lights to draw the squid in. They light up the horizon like a floating city! It's probably the lights that draws the squid to the wharves in the first place
