All caught on slimy Mackerel that we caught a few weeks back..

Hi all, My mate Enzo comes up with a winter plan to chase snapper, he said that we should try and fish the afternoon instead of the morning because its just too cold to get out of bed these days, (Lazy) i think! Anyway, we launched the Quini at 3.30pm and off we were to Longreef on a mission to chase some snapper. Within minutes Enzo was onto the first Snapper, 30cm model which went back in the drink. We ended up with 6 Snapper, 33cm to 36 in a 2hr period. Then, my rod goes off like a freight train, we knew we were on a good fish. A good 5min battle the beast from the deeps was at boat side, Enzo netted and dropped a 68cm (just over 4kg) Snapper on the deck of the Quini. A Great Sunset Fish...

Ha, We had about 6 rods out Used bonito for bait Not sure on the temp About 20m deep

Hi Raiders, Went out for a bream bash in the Harbour with three mates on Saturday night. Launched the boat around 6.30pm and headed towards Rose Bay. The baits hit the bottom and after about 10 minutes the boys were on fire, except for me, i was getting bites but no hook ups. The boys were paying out on me, i told em that im waiting on a big one to come along, and then!!! i pull up a 39cm bream (the biggest of the night) and said.. Who's laughing now We fished for about 4hrs and caught 30 keeper bream and a few throw backs, a top night on the water...

I went to long reef on Monday, caught 4 snapper, 2@35cm & 2@33. Not sure if you call that any good for long reef... What size was the one you caught?

No doubt about ya! I think you should start your own charter business, people would pay a lot of money to come fishing with you... Let me know when you start operating, ill be your 1st customer

Caught on bait (pillies), gear used was a okuma V system 40, 20 pound braid and 20 pound flurocarbon, rod 5 to 8kg

Hi all, Went out with a mate (Enzo) in the hunt for snapper at Long reef last Sunday 28/03 and pulled up this ripper, my PB @ 54cm. Enzo's miss baked the snapper on the Monday night which fed the 4 of us. yum

What a top day out. Just Wondering were to fish for blackies in lower georges river as i haven't fished for them before?

I was out there today and found jackets in every spot. Good job on the bonnie, what lure did you get him on?
